In the office early this morning, in order to make more progress with the project that I’m working on. I have been working on putting together processes for an audit requirement, this audit relates to the management of the user accounts on our systems (The accounts that the Muppets use).
It was a small surprise to find out that the audit that I had assumed (there’s that word again) was going to happen towards the end of the year is happening in twelve days time, during the course of a discussion with my team leader it was suggested that killing the Muppets (users) was an option. I monitored both my inbox and our call logging system, however it was to no avail as the request didn’t appear. I must remember to put a request into the SAP team, the wording will have to be carefully thought out as there may be someone in the department that recognises the word USERCIDE but then again luck may smile on me and maybe they won’t.
Still the rapidly approaching audit will mean that there is a requirement to manage my time spent interfacing with the users, this may allow me to mellow out a little bit. I have considered having a deterrent sign made, but probably wouldn’t be allowed to display it as the offices are a uniform grey colour. I have had some plagiaristic thoughts on the sign, I think that it should read something like the little phrase at the bottom of this post. If anyone has something that they think may provide a greater deterrent effect I would be willing to consider it as an option, leave any offerings in the comments on the site if you think on it.
