Today was a good day in the Office, I managed to get a big chunk of the conformations database completed and managed to load in the data from about 0.5% of the systems. That means that there’s only 99.5% still to go, so what have I got to do with the 20,000 plus sets of user details loaded so far.
Well I or hopefully someone else will have to check that the users are still working here, that they still require access to the data, that the account settings are correct and well you get the drift. These systems that are in the database represent around 25% of the accounts that we have, many are already locked and are probably not required. I’ll probably have lots of changes to make to the database, there will no doubt be some things that do not fullfill the audit requirements.
I have just been thinking how quiet things have been over the past few weeks since we have moved to the new offices, I’m going to assume that many of the less bright Muppet’s are still lost. I was the only person in the Office today other than the security guards, as I left I stopped and told them that I was leaving – “You’re a Gentleman” was the reply.
Well all I have to say is “You just watch who you call a Gentleman!
