Now down to one day over a week, the most obvious problem at the moment is the size of the personal crates. These are not capable of holding anything like as much as I expected, but there should be enough crates thankfully as there were a number of spare crates ordered. As the post begins we are eight days away from the move, with a number of tasks now well under way. Today’s issue has been the lack of cabling for the security cameras, some internal discussions have indicated that everyone expected the security company to deal with this but it hasn’t. However the networking company has, so it looks like we’re off and running w1th the cabling now. All the cabling should be completed ahead of the move, with a cabling patch plan being delivered – a new concept for this company.
We are now about to start working from the task lists and the project plans that have been prepared, along with the audit documentation we should be good to go. I’m expecting a few people to be off tomorrow and the following Monday, I might point out that that will not include me – so without the interruptions we might get a reasonable amount of progress over the weekend.
