So we’re off, it’s now ten days until the main activities will begin for the relocation. There have been a few little gotchas have crept out of the woodwork, but in the main things are going to plan – with the exception of the backup failures that we’ve had I’m pretty happy. Most of the required resource will or should be on site at the designated start time, there will be a contingent from one of our other offices to assist with the relocation. All I really have to complete the current task list now is some virtualisation and documentation, my absolute favourite as everyone knows.
All the crates and packing materials should arrive tomorrow and then the activity should be pretty frantic, it will be 12 hour days for the next 15 days at a guess. So here we go on an other new adventure, I mean what could possibly go wrong!
