Now the clock has started, the date has been decided – the last weekend in April. The quotes are in from the removals companies and we will be deciding which one we’ll go with on Monday I think. Other things I have to do on Monday, well I have to have some cable delivered to the new offices to start running the 48 office interlinks. I have to start with the removal of the existing patch panel and relocate them to the new location in the same room.
I have some stuff to write up for the dress rehearsal that we had the other week, where it went mostly OK and then the count down will start at T-30 days. There is an other rehearsal planned on the weekend of the 12/13th April, this should take us to T-10 where we should get the final go-no-go decision. Just as am aside, the shipping PC’s to the far east saga is not yet over. As intimated in an earlier post the contents of the big case will be broken into two consignments, just under the maximum allowed into the country – to circumvent the customs problems already experienced.
Anyway, the lessons learned will be applied to the next dress rehearsal in anticipation of success. Once that happens the title of this post will apply, then at about T-2 they will all leave the building – their heads will fall off and they’ll all get into formation. I’m guessing that you all know the rest.
