Well it’s back to the old digital vanishing trick, or trying to think out how you could accomplish it. As I’ve already said in some of the previous posts, actually doing a digital vanishing act isn’t that easy – especially in this day and age. Almost every thing that you do leaves some kind of trackable digital footprint, one that is becoming increasingly easy to track using the computational and data storage facilities that are available now. I’ve already covered some of the ways that we can be tracked, whether you are driving a car, carrying a mobile device such as a phone or 3G tablet or just going around your day to day business.
I’ve also mentioned some of the things that will reduce the foot print, it’s very difficult to eliminate it completely – but with quite careful planning I think it can be done. Just say I’ve been checking out how I would do this, with a little effort it’s actually quite easy to acquire an other identity – one that can be used with a reasonable chance of anonymity. I’ll have to investigate the costs properly, but there is definitely an easy and cost effective way of doing this. Although there are some things to be worked out, I recon that I could actually vanish with a high probability of success if I had to and had a sufficient window to plan it. I’ll detail what’s required in the next post, well most of it anyway – you’ll probably have to fill in the blanks yourself but that should be easy.
