When Sunday comes round the users are not there, there is tranquility in the mechanical garden. I checked out the work that I did yesterday, well I had checked it yesterday as much as I could. But there were other distractions, that I had to deal with. Like issuing death threats to people, reading car magazines while waiting for other people to call me.
The journey home had some other problems like finding food on the way back during my 92 mile drive. Eventually settled for a Macdonalds which was the best of a bad lot, although the coffee was surprisingly good. Sat in the car at some drive through and ate my two cheese burgers, then drank my coffee before setting off home. While sitting there I realised that I’d had breakfast 18 hours earlier, a pair of Kippers pretty damn good as well.
During the day Sunday I did some checking to see if I could find any reports of similar problems to those that had been experienced during the final testing phase, I was unable to do this although I did find that in general the setting is between 1024 and 8192 so setting to 65535 does seem to be a bit extreme however I’m only the systems admin so there’s no point in asking me.
Still tomorrow is an other day, maybe It’ll be good. I know that its going to be better than normal as I’m going home to see my family.
