Kippers anyone?

Well for all you urchins out there, the Kipper club has been reinstated. So whats so good about that I hear you ask, well for one thing they are actually real Kippers – maybe not quite as good as the picture – but pretty close. They are a reasonable size and a pretty good price, all in all a good deal were they to make them look like the Kippers in the picture – I for one would be quite happy to pay two or three times what we are currently paying.

Now I’m not a food snob, however as I live in a rural area and have always been accustomed to good food – I don’t mind paying a little extra for quality. Also as it’s only a once a week thing then even paying a little over the odds isn’t too much of a problem. Still with one of the Kipper club in hospital we have to take things easy, as we don’t want to get him too excited as he has “ze dicky ticker” – from a well known TV show. So now we are going to have to report how good the Kippers are for a couple of weeks before he gets to partake, by which time they will probably not be as good as they once were. Anyway onward and upwards, I’m really looking forward to the next meeting of the club.

Other stuff that is happening at the office is pretty mundane, we are getting ready for the clock change weekend where we will have to apply patched etc. Newcastle United seem to have done something outstanding – so I’m told, the rest of the world is moving forward, which might be in a different direction from me. But when all is said and done the world is all well, mostly! I’m told that there are a significant number of people coming over from Europe to explain the function of the SAN, but at the last minute it may not be convenient as it’s likely to be the mid-term holidays here. So there may be reason to postpone the whole thing, or not as the case may be. So in line with the rest of the world we have decided that General Mayhem (That famous German General) is visiting!
