Today started with a conference call, it was a nice surprise to find out that the person running the call had over estimated the time required for the call – something that doesn’t happen very often when it comes to these things. The call was just a walk through for some work that is going to happen in a couple of weeks time, the work will in this case take longer than the conference call – however that’s not always the case.
Still I’m sitting in Aviemore, just looking out at the mountains and thinking about logging back on after my lunch break. I’m working remotely, it’s OK normally but I don’t think that I have access to a 3G mast anywhere around here – well possibly if I go to Inverness. But then I might just as well go into the Inverness office in that case, so I’ll just put up with the slow connection speed and keep plodding on.
Anyway, even with this very slow connection I’m probably doing things faster than the bulk of the business people in the office.
