Well today we got to award the “Three Amigos Sombrero” and how I wish that there was more than one to award! I was called to the old offices to have a look at some equipment that was still lying around, during the ensuing discussions – which I might add had a sprinkling of tourettes vocabulary I discovered that there was no provision for the removal of this equipment from the old offices and that we only had four days including Saturday and Sunday to complete the process. So for the next three and possibly four days I will be in the old offices, I’ll be using a limited tool kit. One that will probably comprise a large pair of side cutters, a philips No 2 screwdriver and a hammer. This is mainly due to the fact that these are all the tools I have with me and although I could borrow a chain saw and a splitting axe – the temptation to misuse them I feel would be too great.
The few bits of equipment lying around has turned out to be a total of, eight or nine rooms with a significant ammount of kit – much of which is still connected there is probably enough stuff to fill six or more 3 tonne trucks. Even equipment which was specifically pointed out to our own in house removers is still in situ. But when the Poo Poo Pixies call there’s not a lot you can do.
