Some people have had better days.
Some people have had better days.

Well it’s now 13:30 and my boss was supposed to be here from Europe, but alas due to the vagaries of the weather he’s stuck in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport – not that I’m really laughing about it as he ambushed me with a “Get a presentation done for Monday on what we still have to do!” Any of you that know me will realise that at this point I usually start thinking about acquiring premium gasoline and swan vesta’s at this point, with the hardest decision being management or computer room?

So the day drags on, my colleagues from Europe have now been in Schiphol Airport since 10:30 UK time and it is now almost 16:00. They are only about an hour from the transfer desk, so not even certain of getting the 19:50 Glasgow flight at the moment. Still I have just about completed my presentation and should have a chance to get it all tidied up in the morning – so no immediate need for the matches and gasoline then – I can save that ploy for an other day.

On a more positive note, my daughter is getting her funds together to go and volunteer for the Tear Fund in Peru. There are a group of them going and I’m donating any commissions from this site i.e., Amazon sales and the like – so if you’d like to help and were thinking of buying something from Amazon any way click through on this site and the commission will go to a good cause.
